I have just got myself a new ijoy combo rdta and wanted to know if any advice when it comes to building on it.
Coils – what type of wire to use , style if wire (clapton, fused clapton ect) and wrap count.
Deck – which of the two decks that comes with the tank is best to build on
Wicking – tips and ways to wick.

I'm completely new to vaping…I've been doing some research and decided to put my own set up together rather then getting a kit.im considering going with the smok alien 220w mod but that's kind of off topic haha…my question is what are the best rebuildable tank atomizers of this year?
I'm looking for something up to date.i want one that supports dual coils, holds a decent amount of <a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/e<a href="http://www.vapininthecape.com/eliquid_c_7.html”>liquid_c_7.html”>juice,something you can get good flavor with and great cloud production as well as something that's fairly simple to work on considering I'm new to building coils.i would also like one where you can get a DTL draw but that's not a necessity.
Any other advice would be appreciated also.TIA

I want to put it on temp mode but I'm not familiar with all the specific settings. I usually vape on 60 watts on hard. So if someone can give me some specific strings for putting it on temp mode that'd nice. Thanks

So I just picked up my first mech mod, a tuglyfe tugboat dual 18650 unregulated mod.
I'm being overly cautious and feel like I'm walking on eggshells using this. I am using two LG HG2 18650s in parallel and doing my math this should give me 40 amps with around 6000 mah and 4.2 volts. My coils are ohming out at .16 which should hit at around 26 amps giving me lots of leeway.
My questions are: 1. How do I ensure I'm not overloading my batteries? It has a mosfet chip, but I haven't been able to find out what exactly a mosfet chip protects. 2. How hot is this supposed to get? I have read several different threads and google searches, but I have yet to find a consistent answer on how hot should the mod get before getting worries? 3. Are there warning signs to look out for, if the batteries were to vent? I've been doing my research to avoid this, but shit happens. And I want to make sure I'm prepared. 4. Any other tips you would give to someone just beginning to use mech mods?
Have heard so much about how mech mods kick ass and I can't wait to start using mine! I just want to do it safely lol. Thanks
Edit: now to not

I already regret buying this vape because I've had a few issues with it over the last week since I bought it, but today it's been plugged in to charge for about 4 hours in total, I've tried two separate chargers to see if the problem was the leads but still it won't charge? The light is on to say it's charging, but every time I go to use it the button flashes read as if it has no charge. I'm starting to get quite frustrated with it. I'm not very good with vapes as this is probably the most advanced I've owned as my others were the lower quality vapour pens and so on and this was my step towards sub-ohm tanks. If anyone could help me out with any suggestions I would really really appreciate it.

I just bought myself the iStick Pick with a Melo III Mini atomiser. Really cute, first impressions are great! My only problem is that it came with two coils, one pre-installed. What's the problem? Well, normally when I bought coils for my Cool Fire IV (also a great mod, but was getting a bit big) the coils came in packaging with a label saying "20W-35W" so I knew how much to fire them. However this isn't the case with these fancy pre installed atomisers. Can anyone help? Also, when these coils need replacing, what should I replace them with? Thanks in advance
