Gauging wattage with a kick

Alright so I got my kick in the mail yesterday. It’s awesome! I have no idea how to gauge where I’m at though. It’s a singelie one. There are 8 indicator marks, but the website says it’s from 5 to 15 watts. Have you guys come up with a method to figure out where exactly you’re at with it? Also, is the rattlesnake noise a bad thing? It doesn’t really bother me except that it makes me a bit uneasy since I don’t know if it’s normal.

Best setup I have ever had!

I found an idea online to use a stainless steel cable as a wick.  It rocks the vapor like nothing I have ever experienced before.  The flavor that comes from it is better than cotton or a mesh wick.  I have it setup in my RSST with a 1/8 inch diameter cable with a 1.8 ohm micro coil that is 5/64 inner diameter and just a little bit of cotton on the top under the coil as an insulator.  I cut it with cable cutters to get a nice clean edge and torched the hell out of it.  I wanted to make sure they did not send me something with zinc coating on it.

I have found thru trial and error that I no longer have to tip the tank to re-wet the wick at all.  If I do that I am getting gurgling and it leaks from the air hole.  I have to keep it below a 4 o’clock position or it will leak.  This by far is the most flavorful vape I have ever had.  I am only pushing it with 3.6v thru my evic and it is amazing.

I thought I would share this with everyone out there and see what others think.

Couple Kanger clearomizer questions

Okay couple Kanger T3S/MT3S questions.

First off – <a href="http://www.thevaporroom.net/kaego3mlmebo.html” title=”External link” rel=”nofollow external”>http://www.thevaporroom.net/kaego3mlmebo.html this looks EXACTLY like the MT3S, as far as I can tell, but the closest it says anywhere close to an actual name is tabac.  Reason I was looking at it is because of the price.

But then, that brings me to my second question.  For Kanger type clearomizers – the Evod types, the T3S/MT3S type – I mean, I know having the Kanger brand coil is important, but is it as important to have the Kanger brand clearomizer and not a knock off?  Reason I was asking, you can probably guess.  It appears that the only one of the four local B&Ms that don’t charge $10 for it, it appears is selling knock offs (the same place that is selling knock off Evods, and knock off coils).  Now the knock off Evods I got from them, I’ve not had a problem with, but the knock off coils have been a bit more problematic, and I won’t be getting coils from there, anymore.  Premier Vapor is closer to get coils from anyway in a pinch.  But all the local stores have T3S coils at $10 a 5 pack, so it would be cheaper to order them online and pay the shipping even.
